Fulbright-Fogarty Fellowships in Public Health

Fulbright-Fogarty fellowships are offered to medical students and graduate students interested in conducting research in public health and clinical research in resource-limited settings of under-developed countries. Fellows spend nine months in one of the following countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia or South America.
Eligible Countries
Bangladesh, Botswana, Brazil, China, Kenya, Malawi, Peru, South Africa, Thailand, Uganda, Zambia.
Eligibility
Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Application should be submitted only to one country.
Tenure: Awards are for 9 months at the overseas location.
How to apply: Applicants for Fulbright-Fogarty fellowships should apply to the general Fulbright Student program in the field of Public Health. Fellowships are awarded in partnership with the Fogarty International Center of the U.S. National Institute of Health.
